Where Pride Began

To mark the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Inn Uprising, Saks Fifth Avenue partnered with the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI) for a 360-degree campaign honoring the "place where pride began".

The collaboration included a dedicated unisex capsule collection featuring 17 designers, includinv Balmain, Stella McCartney, Christian Louboutin, and Prabal Gurung, with 30% of proceeds benefiting SIGBI to support LGBTQ+ safe spaces, and special window installations at the flagship store. 

This initiative not only offered exclusive merchandise but also used Saks' platform to promote education about the history of the Stonewall Uprising and support the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ equality. .
